Reiki is based on an ancient system of healing many thousands of years old. The Usui System of Reiki Healing was founded in the early 1900s by Dr. Mikao Usui and involves three levels, each with its own set of attunements ("attunement" means that your energy is raised to the higher frequency of the Reiki energy). Reiki involves the transfer of energy from practitioner to patient to enhance the body's natural ability to heal itself through the balancing of energy. Reiki utilizes specific techniques for restoring and balancing the natural life force energy within the body. It is a holistic, natural, hands-on energy healing system that touches on all levels: body, mind, and spirit.

Reiki I

In the Level 1 class, you will be introduced to the history and general principles of Reiki, will learn the basic hand positions for treatment, and will practice using Reiki on others in the class. You will receive the Level I attunement that will open up your physical body to become a channel for the Reiki energy and prepare you to become a Reiki practitioner. This class is for anyone wanting to learn about Reiki, become a Reiki practitioner, or work towards becoming a Reiki Master.

Reiki II

Reiki II focuses and intensifies the Reiki energy you were attuned to in the Reiki I class. In the Reiki II class you will receive, and be attuned to, the three sacred, powerful, healing symbols that will take your Reiki practice to a higher level. You will learn how to use the symbols, how to draw them, and how to invoke their power, and will have an opportunity for hands-on practice. You’ll also learn how to do long-distance healings. You must have received your Reiki I certification to take the Level II class.

Reiki III

The Reiki III class completes the Reiki instruction begun in Reiki I and continued in Reiki II. In the Level III class you will receive the Usui Master attunement that strengthens the mind and expands the consciousness. You will be attuned to the Usui Master symbol that will increase the effectiveness of the Reiki healing. At the end of your Reiki instruction, you will be trained and certified as a Reiki Master/Teacher in the Usui Method of Natural Healing.

Reiki Teacher Training

You’re a Reiki Master! Reiki has become not just what you do, but how you live. And you’re ready to begin sharing this amazing healing modality with others, to bring the knowledge and expression of Reiki into the world. Congratulations!

This Reiki Teacher Training Workshop will give you the necessary tools to do just that. This 1/2-day class will offer you a foundation from which to personalize your own Reiki classes.

This workshop will cover:
 ~ A review of important topics to discuss in each class level
 ~ A basic outline for each class level to give you a foundation for customizing your own class
 ~ Learning how to pass attunements for each class level
 ~ Hands-on practice passing attunements
 ~ An opportunity to practice speaking in front of a group

Time: 10:00 am – 2:00 pm (Please note: this class is scheduled as a 4-hour class. If necessary, to cover all the material and offer enough “practice” time, the class will be extended another hour or two at no additional cost. It will be important for all attendees to remain open to the flow of the day!)
