Beginning Astrology

In this 6-week class you will develop all astrological language necessary for understanding how to interpret a birth chart. This class is taught from an archetypal psychological and evolutionary perspective. The psychological perspective assumes that the planets, signs, house and aspects reflect your unique personality including strengths, complexes, and potential. The evolutionary approach considers the broader scope in which your personality is carrying forward the intent of your soul. The combination creates a "life blueprint" that gives you self-awareness, validation, and perspective. We will use participants’ charts, the charts of famous people, and the charts of your family and friends, thus bringing the information alive, and giving you real life examples. This class is designed for the total beginner, and no prior knowledge of astrology is necessary.

Chart Interpretation

Join us for Part 2 of the beginner series. In this 4-week class, you’ll learn how to read your chart, and the charts of others, by expanding your understanding of how the planets, signs, houses, and aspects reflect your unique personality including strengths, complexes, and potential. This class is for beginners as well as those who want ongoing chart reading practice.

When: 4 Tuesday evenings, April 27 - May 18, 2010

Time: 7:00 - 9:00 pm

A BEGINNER'S SERIES OF ASTROLOGY CLASSES

This series of beginners’ classes is taught from an archetypal psychological and evolutionary perspective. Part 1 - Signs, Houses, Elements, Planets (to be scheduled)
In this class, you will use participants’ charts, the charts of famous people, and the charts of your family and friends, thus bringing the information alive, and giving you real life examples. This class is designed for the total beginner, and no prior knowledge of astrology is necessary.

Part 2 - Aspects and Chart Interpretation (to be scheduled)
Join us for Part 2 of the beginner series.  In this class we will be focusing on Aspects and how they reflect our complexes, strengths, and potentials.  You need to have a basic understanding of the Planets, Signs, and House for this class.  In the last few classes we will bring it all together, and you will have all the necessary tools to fully Interpret a Chart.

Part 3 - Transits and Progressions (to be scheduled)
This class is designed for those who have a basic understanding of the Planets, Signs, and Houses. Using the participants’ charts you will gain an understanding of how to track the current planetary cycles and how they are affecting your life now. By understanding the planetary cycles you can be more intentional in co-creating the direction of your life, while maintaining a broader perspective for what events have, or are, occurring.
